Welcome

The Town of Fairhaven, MA, was incorporated on February 22, 1812, having previously been a part of New Bedford.
In preparation for the celebration of the town's 200th anniversary, the Board of Selectmen appointed a Bicentennial Committee to plan and coordinate activities and special events.

The Bicentennial Committee meets on the third Saturday of each month at 9:00 am, usually in the Town Hall conference room. Meetings will be posted at the entrance of the Town Hall, on public television, and on www.Fairhaven200.org.

Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings, either as a guest or as an appointed member. We are always looking for new members to help us plan our town’s 200th birthday.
